I disagree. Mercy rejoices against judgment. Grace abounds much more if sin abounds. God was in Christ, not imputing our trespasses against us (i.e. not condemning us for our sins).

The Galileans were not worse sinners because Pilate mixed their blood with the sacrifices. Nor were the ones killed when a tower fell on them.

The USA, like any other nation, collectively and individually, will all likewise perish, except she repents.

Didn't one of the prophets prophesy once and say that all nations are vain, they are less than nothing, to and before God?

Do not let the mass media fool you into thinking that the vast majority of US citizens are on board with all the Hollywood trash and D.C. ungodliness. There are many more folk who believe in God and are trying as best as they know how, to live a moral life, compared to the rotten apples trying to ruin the whole bunch.

not to be niggling, but the USA is not a nation, it is a country that contains many nations, right? The point being that your nation may repent while the rest go a different way, and your nation might still be healed, etc.

IF a person thinks that America began it's downfall 'when the white man came over and' blah blah blah, then asking why they are still in America (assuming they are in fact in America) is a legitimate question.

When did Nazi Germany begin it's downfall? As soon as Nazi Germany came into existence? So why then would someone remain in Nazi Germany while entertaining such ideas about their country? The smart thing would be to flee the evil shadows of Mordor...
