reminds me of a story I heard once.
I don't know if it's true or not.
This happened years ago when women wore looong dresses, petticoats, and pantaloons.
One hefty sister whilst ascending the steps to the choir loft, lost her balance and fell backward.
She landed on her back on the platform with her legs straight up in the air and her dress and petty coats over her head.

The preacher quickly hollered out, "Don't look! Don't anybody look! If you look God might blind you!"

There was silence for a few seconds
and then from the very back of the church one man could be heard saying,
"Well, I'm gonna risk one eye."

If it didn't happen then, it's definitely happened enough times since!

I would add: Dancing in the spirit as in while speaking in tongues or just dancing to the rythm of the music during worship service? Either way, it's about me and my praise and worship unto the Lord. Who's to determine what's in the spirit and not, other than God himself. It's all about Him and my worship to Him. If peeps are watching me on their radar, then they're looking the wrong direction, IMO...

As for dancing in the social scene, well, I have no problem until it's suggestive sexual movements or gestures on themselves, toward me, or someone else. Talk about opening up a can of problems and other unmentionable things...

Here's a little church action that might not fit everyone's idea of worship! (Watch the baptistry)
