Yes, the media and the Clintons are going to attack whomever is the GOP candidate, but Trump provides them with the ammo. I sincerely doubt Cruz would be shooting himself in the foot, like Trump does.

How did he shoot himself in the foot by something he said 11 years ago when he wasn't even a politicians, much less running for President?
Anyone who thinks that any GOP candidate would not be having their secret sins exposed right now is dreaming.

There's no Cruz mistress. That was a lie from Trump and his friend at the Inquirer. The only thing Clinton would be hitting Cruz with would be Canada and how he's "far right wing" and would take us back to the past.
Cruz doesn't have the immoral baggage Trump has.
There's a reason the media helped Trump become the nominee. He was the weakest candidate and if nominated, they knew he would be easy to destroy in order to give the election to Hillary.
