You feel free to put whomever you want into the "pit of Hell" as YOU referred it...as far as your education, trust me, you had better NOT be talking about my church and saying demonic spirits are at work from the inside. Of course my church has demonic spirits at work...to try and hinder the wonderful things of GOD that we are attempting, but if you try that pit of hell tactic on me, or my pastor, or my church, you're opening a can of worms you don't want to mess with...understand? Good!
It could be that what you are calling Christian Rock, and what I am calling Christian Rock, are 2 entirely different things.

As to the rest of your post, I have no idea where you got that from, or why you would feel the need to threaten me. Is that the "Christian" thing to do? Should I bow down to you because of it??

Man............It seems we need to shut down and go home, as everyone seems wound up tighter than a top

He he, I felt that u were talking about my church!
Yes, we must be on two different topics of music for sure.
Hmmm, Christian???...Matt, two things bring this monkey to screeches, my family, my church family...I am very protective of them.
I would NEVER expect you to bow to me, I doubt you could reach that low

Well, I would fight you for that LOW spot, as I have squatters rights to it.

No, I wasn't even thinking of a church when I posted. My oldest son (18 yrs old) had brought home some stuff that I had to make him get out of the house. It was along the lines of Metalica, but it was supposed to be Christian. I would probably be considered quite liberal in music, as I love all kinds. But this is just too much like the rock music I was delivered out of, and had the same spirit. I don't know the name of the band or I would have listed it.

I am going to research this, hmmm.
I have head P.O.D. but I don't really feel that they have owned up to their "christian" labeling by some in the Industry.
Bands like switchfoot and reliant k have crossover playlist, but if you're good, you're good and you will get picked up like Bebe & Cece back in the day. I could see this offending some in the church but it doesn't bother me. I am going to try and find this metal you have spoken of...

I like a few of the Switchfoot songs. And ReliantK has a few good ones too. They are not my style, but I have no problem with them.

POD is pretty far out there to me. They are beyond where I am comfortable with.

If I think of it, I will ask him tonight and let you know. This group screamed so that you couldn't understand the words, even though the words were supposed to be christian.

Yup, they ain't my cup of tea! Truth be told, neither are switchfoot or reliant k, but I can handle them. They are in my iPod but I don't listen much. Israel & New Breed get my airtime!

Israel, as well as PC&D have become "too much honey" around here. They have been played to D-E-A-T-H. I still like them, but just here and there.

POD doesn't really claim to be a Christian band and they admit their influence is rastafari

They do claim to be "born again", and they do have "Christian" songs on their albums.
