It was railroaded.....It should have gone to a vote.
Not gone to a committee.
I would have called it railroaded had the "liberal" side sent it to commitee.

This is not intended to be argumentative.....

THE exact words used to me today was that it was said that those men were going to be very bold in their wording and that "It was going to upset both sides of the vote"

Not sure what that means.

Don't think anybody has lost their mind... seems like a good conversation to me! I sincerely hope those folks DO keep promoting fellowship with trinitarians.....

By the way, Dan A., I really enjoyed your thread today on the 'Frankenstein Pastor'. Seriously! I've been toying for a year or so with a Bible Study series that I want to call "The Perfect Saint" and build it off those that want the 'perfect Pastor'.

My premise is that I want to do such things as...
*The hands of Martha
*The heart of Mary
*The ears of Elisha (hear the sound of abundance of rain)
*The tongue of Isaiah (touched with a coal)
etc...

Anyway... it's a good thread! (I knew you had it in you!)

That'll preach....but maybe it should be aimed at all being the best we can be......

Funny. I don't remember there being a bad spirit or a feeling of being railroaded at all. Neither did the majority evidently.

(Now, if you want to talk about railroading, let's talk about the move to bring it back up after a good amount of voters had left the floor.)
That was wrong to!
