If a Pastor in the UPC wants to advertise on TV - he will. It has been done, is being done and will be done.
You do not have the money or resources to put your church on TV on a regular basis.
"Christian" TV is VERY expensive and does not pay off for the pastor if he does not have GREAT PRODUCT to push.
There is way too much competition and you are NOT up to it!
If you are not a smart salesman - stay off.
If you go on TV - You WILL change your message.
If you go on TV - You WILL change the way you look.
Taping for TV changes the dynamics of a service. Hook up a video camera and start taping every Sunday morning and put it up on your screen - I can promise you it will change things.

But I would say that Webcasting is the way to go. Then you have no need to change anything. It's your time and bandwidth do what you will.

Anthony Mangun just reported last sunday that two people got the holy ghost through his webcast service. I tune in to his webcast and have felt the HG in my home while tuning in to his webcast. The same can happen over tv, just like you can feel the annointing with audio cassettes.

I can just see it now.............that tv program of that church in my city with 30 members shockamooing all over the tv screen as the song leader sings "Keep On The Firing Line". I feel inspired just thinking of the possibilities.

I pray they DO NOT come on in Atlanta - its embarrassing enough the nuts that are on now! VOTE IT DOWN!
There was a radio station down by your ole buddy in Ky. and all Sunday it was one Pentecostal after another and you did NOT need a televsion for entertainment I am still teeling stories about those broadcasts and to see them??? It was funny enough to hear them.
