After much deliberation, the answer is....... ....neither.
The Apostle Paul proved that you can stay with the ship and save your neck at the same time ( Acts 27). Paul opposed the idea of leaving the ship while in unknown waters and in the midst of a raging storm. He predicted a bad outcome for any who tried it. However, when the ship later ran aground and broke into pieces, he did not hesitate to swim for shore.
I think right now the ship is in deep waters somewhere between Tulsa and Melita, and anytime the rain slacks a little I see fins in the water, but it's kind of difficult to tell the difference between the sharks and dolphins, so I'm going to ride out the storm and if the ship doesn't make it, I will swim for Melita!

We're NOT. I repeat, NOT upset that these guys are leaving.
I for one am upset about their conduct and the manner in which they are forming their "new" organization on the shoulders of the UPC.
Why can't they just leave, go do their own thang and let the UPCI go on some semblance of "peace?"
Instead, they have been undermining the unity of the organization and contending for their differences to the disunity of the brethren for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS! Hello? Do you think this just happened at this year's GC because of the passing of RES.4??? I'm sorry to bear this news to my dear friends who would like to believe the best of these guys, but these great men of God have been disgruntled and behaving badly for YEARS! And again I say YEARS!
I so wish they would have done this YEARS ago. I wish them godspeed and "Lord bless ya!" and go on git!
But there's a problem, they are keeping their churches that were once affiliated with the UPC. Their decisions affect their saints. The saints are free to go elsewhere...but what if they want to stick with the UPC but now that Brother Holier-than-thou has decided to go with WPF they are up the proverbial creek because their district is so sparsely populated with UPC churches???
Do you people really think these men are thinking of the greater good?

I can agree that is Craft did what he is reported doing he was not being ethical. But the question is, whas he doing it as an authority of the non functioning new Org, or was he doing it of his own account?
How 'bout this one...
Maybe no more unethical than a man in your church forming a little group of your people that agree with him more than you (pastor) and starting another church across the street from you, contacting and reaching into your congregation in order to increase the "new fellowship".

What are you trying to say here. Has someone done this??

I wish they would have "done it" before the AS fiasco that stripped the UPCI of some great leadership.

I'm not UPCI nor I'm not planning on joining but if I was going to leave an org. I would turn in my card and quitely and politely leave.
