Question is this normal in some places for pastors to preach their own meetings? The last time I saw that was at Fort Worth when MK was having meetings with KP?

That is interesting to me. Not throwing stones I just have not been exposed to this? Seems like a Jakes or Parsley type mentality to me??? Come and hear me????? Again I do not know AM so it is not a personal attack on him or his meeting. I guess(no matter how old)we learn something new everyday?

No, elder. Its more like this..."Thus sayeth the Lord" and a.m. (lower case) has been GOD's (upper case) mouthpiece for a generation, and now, as I have a young impressionable 16 yr old nephew at BOTT, I pray he speaks into the next generation.
BTW, in my dad's generation, they wore zoot suits and cool hats to show off the money they didn't have...and they got all the girls that way. FULL of ego...just because YOU wear a cool hat doesn't mean you have that same pride...its just...your cool. he he! You was born wit your coolness!
So, just because some mainstream preachers who may...may, have pride, preach their own conferences, ....AM does not!
I hope my friend that is there picking up DVD's for me will get AM.

When we used polycom, we would send someone with the unit to help set-up. Now, someone on their end just sends the signal into their router.
I now have a slingbox, and I am checking out that technology. It may be the cheapest way to send video signals. Right now, with slingbox, I can go anywhere wiith a wi-fi connection and control any media device that I have plugged into it.
Our church webcasts to a few churches every Wed & Sun. We are blessed to be in a tech city. You can literally take a stroll to our beautiful river downtown with your laptop and go online! We have free wi-fi in Fredericton, pretty cool....eh? (threw in the eh)

I haven't met him personally, but I've heard him speak many times and I've never sensed Ego from him... authority yes... ego no.
It's his church you see.. his meeting.. and his authority ... I think him opening the meeting every year is a good thing.

It seems to me that at least one of the organizers of AMC in Nashville also preaches. How is that any different?
It is a shame they don't webcast this conference. Hard to understand. It is not as if they only want preachers to hear it because they sell the CD''s and DVD's of it after the fact.
I agree. I don't understand it either.
