OHHH, I forgot about that song, I love it!
I used to sing that when I was a teenager, it's such a moving song.

It it amazing how the mere mention of a song can usher in the presence of God? I have teary eyes from reading this thread, remembering some great moves of God during different times of my life while listening to some of these songs mentioned.
A couple of years ago, I heard a newer rendition of "Had it Not Been". I sobbed like a baby as I listened to the words. I had heard that song many times, but maybe for the first time I really listened.
A few songs (some already mentioned) that always get to me when I hear them:
"I Can't Complain" by Don Johnson
"He's Been Faithful" by the Brooklyn Tab Choir
"Send a Holy Ghost Revival" by the Brooklyn Tab Choir
"In the Presence of Jahovah" by Geron Davis

Im Standing On The Solid Rock
He Set Me Free
Unworthy
Now Behold The Lamb
Without Him
If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again
I Go To The Rock
My House Is Full (But My Field Is Empty)
Cornerstone
Everybody Will Be Happy Over There
Just Over In The Gloryland
What A Savior
Sweet By And By
The King Is Coming
He Touched Me

While there are MANY songs that can get me crying, there are a few that I just absolutely love: Were It Not For Grace, Praise His Name (by Sherri Easter--not a huge southern gospel fan but this song does it for me), It Is Well With My Soul is probably one of my most favorite hymns and I love Selah's version. . .and Jesus I Love You. . .there's just something about the words to those verses! That song can get me to blowing snot in no time!!

I am with you on Selah's version of It Is Well With My Soul, which is my favorite song.

Stumped me too, and I seldom use a songbook to sing with.

The two eldest daughters of the Collingsworth Family play this song on their violins in perfect harmony. No other music but the violins. Definately worth listening to. . .gave me goose bumps, tears, the whole shebang. . .
