Understood. But since Jews believe in the same Jehovah God we do, and they believe in the Old Testament... at least thats some good common ground to start with.

The Spirit of the Lord will not lead where His word has not been before. The ONLY way to know whether it is the leading of the Holy Ghost or not is by the word, not by impressions, however spiritual they may be or someone claims them to be.

The word is the track for the HG "train" to run on. Without a "track" you get all the wackiness folks have seen and been purported to be the work of the Holy Ghost. I believe in being led by the Spirit, but without the word any impression can be thought of as being the HG.

You seem to be presuming that that I have done away with all scripture. I have not. I am saying that there is no law in the whole Bible that any of us can keep in our own ability. Even the royal law of love. Love your neighbor as your self. Love God with all your soul, mind , and strength. None of us can do that in our own ability. It has to be the Spirit of Christ living thru us. Then it is Jesus who gets the glory, not us.
