Margie I think you closely mirror my feelings in all of this with that above statement.

I mean with an affair your would be hurt and devastated, but sleeping with another man would just discuss me in a way that any shred of respect would be totally lost.

I just think he is the most pathetic thing, although I know God is enduringly mericful ..he would just be such a pitiful specimen in my sight-

Knew a very pretty lady who was very busy at home, raising their four children, three
sons and a daughter. Her fairly prominent attorney husband was having the time of his
life courting the ladies until he was found out. In time, she and their daughter (who went
to high school with our oldest daughter) both went to law school and became very
successful attorneys in the county seat where he no longer was practicing. The daughter is still a successful attorney at law in the county seat where her mother has,

...to discover that your husband has been involved in a long affair with one person?

...to discover that your husband is gay and the fact that he has a steady...um...guy?

I know these are all bad from a man's perspective and but for the Grace of God goeth lots and lots more of us...

Which one is the worst or rank them and WHY? Just curious...

the one that would send me reeling and get me on CNN would be the third...

There needs to be insurance against cheating husbands for wives whose livelihood bites the dust when their husbands do.

He had been with his high school sweetheart off and on since high school and she was married and he was married to me! He also had many prostitutes over a matter of years... no he wasnt no rich man who paid thousands of dollars for them so when I found out yep... almost as huge of an ick factor as it would have been to find out he was gay..

The prostitutes happened when he was overseas all the time and its just sickening still to think of...

Hardest part was telling the pastor of the upc church he was choir director at and then telling the choir why he wasnt going to show up for choir practice that Sunday afternoon!

Am I over the bag of dirt.. yep and so glad God gave me the awesome man he has!!!

That's why, God willing, I'll make sure my daughter definitely will be going to college to get her degree. If I can afford to pay for her Master's too, I'll do it. I think too many parents just want their daughter to graduate high school, and then get married to a good man and have cute babies. But if she has no education or career skills to fall back on, what happens if her marriage doesn't work out?

I think when it comes to higher education, etc, we tend to set higher standards and expectations for our sons than our daughters... and I think that's unfortunate.
