Do any of you believe God was pleased when we vaporized thousands of Japanese children? Perhaps we didn't have a choice in regards to the earthly point of view...but do you think God applauded this?
God ordered the 'vaporization' of entire families in the OT. Read it and blame God for being so heartless.

God uses nations and wars to bring entire peoples under judgment. Instead of picking sides and passing the ammunition...we should find our prayer closets. When confronted we should be agents speaking peace, being embassadors of Heaven...not pawns of earthly governments.
Separation. It's more than a dress code.

I have heard that we knew they were coming and let Pearl Harbor happen. How true that is I don't know.
I've heard it too. I't's a distinct possibility. We'll know for sure in the judgment. In the Spanish American War we blew up our own ship (USS Maine) and charged the Spanish to justify military action.
Stranger things have happened and those who don't admit it are foolish in the ways of this world.

Understood, but you still didn't answer my question.
You said that the terrorist attacks on New York city were a result of God removing his hand and bringing our nation to its knees, i.e., God's wrath.
So, I'm led to believe that you somehow think the attacks were sovereign, and God's will. Thereby rendering the terrorists vessels of God's work.
However, when the US bombed Japan, you said God was displeased, and we "vaporized" thousands of people.
Now, please pick a side and stay on it - are the attacks on countries God's will, or are those attacks the manifestations of very mean nations who make God angry?

Well...it isn't disrespectful to me and the multipled hundreds or thousands that stand an eat popcorn during the anthem at baseball games.
Dude...you're scraping the bottom to slander a man. Look at yourself.
Look I'm not a dude, I am not scraping the bottom.
You are carring on too many conversations on at once--cause you are not following what I am saying AT ALL-
BTW-If you think Obama refusing to cover his heart at a public event while holding public office is the same as eating popcorn during the National Anthem during a baseball game...I think you are the one scraping the bottom dude.
I'm still waiting on you to tell us the answer and to which sermon you are referring to, and in what way it takes away from things said in his sermon that were detrimental.
I think you're missing the point again Heavenly.
If I hear a quote from the man's sermon (any sermon) I want to know how it ends. Sometimes when preaching we present the bad news first...and close with the good news.

Also what about the moral implications of our government knowing the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor? It's been reported by some that we stood by and allowed them to bomb our Navel fleet to justify entering the Pacific theater of war. At the time it would have been political suicide to bring America into WWII because the American people were largely against American involvement.
this ought to be a bannable offense.
some cockeyed crack pot conspiracy theory. all in the name of defending Jerimiah Wrights vitriol.
you are about as close to getting on my ignor list as a person can get.
