Maybe that's what happened. *sigh* I hope they get this to me tomorrow. I'd like to take the family out to Denny's.
If you call the stimulus hotline they should be able to tell you when you will be getting your money and how much. I thought that because we had our refund direct deposited into our account that we would get the stimulus direct deposited. We had our taxes prepared for us. The money went to their account first and then into ours, because of this a code shows up and if they get a code they won't send it out direct deposit. They don't know if that tax preparer is open all year long or not so they just reject them all, and send checks instead.
Here's what mine says: Your payment of $XXXX is scheduled to be deposited to your bank on May 9, 2008. If you do not receive the credit by May 14, 2008, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until May 14, 2008 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then.

Uh oh. I hope this isn't the case for us. We are counting on that money. I need to find that number and call it.
