Sister, I don't know if it's sick minded people so much as people who want to make accomodations for everyone in society. Could you imagine being a transgendered person and being forced to use the restroom designated for the sex you were born?

There it is, last paragraph, page 22:

"6 SECTION 35. Safety clause. The general assembly
7 determines, and declares that this act is necessary
8 preservation of the public peace, health, and safety."

Thanks for the info. I quit listening to Dobson years ago because I feel he is more interested in imposing Christian beliefs on society than seeking justice for Christians who've been discriminated against. He started off with a focus on the latter and has moved to the former, in my opinion.

Can you cite a source for this?

I am sure that God made me with the "gender" I am to have on this earth, as he did everyone else. Transgender is a choice in my opinion, so they aren't forced to do anything.

He was confusing trangender with transsexual. Transsexuals who want sex reassignment surgery have to live as the opposite sex usually for one year and undergo extensive physiological evaluation before surgery.

Someone who identifies themselves as transgendered feels that their physical bodies don't match up to how they view themselves internally. Even though they may feel like a woman inside, they don't alter their physical bodies (male sex organ).
