Sinner Receiving the Holy Ghost.

I was just wondering when the last time a sinner, not a backslider, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in your church with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance, without it being with a visiting preacher or some sort of special service.

To rephrase that, when was the last time a regular sinner got the Holy Ghost just on the strength of the local church?

For my church the last was around a week and a half ago.

Sometimes every week or so, sometimes every month.

Since being a the present church 4 months we haven't had anyone receive it as of yet, of course no one has come forwards asking for it, but we will be baptizing 3 ladies on Sunday.

Last Sunday after they were baptized in Jesus name while still in the water worshipping God.

Baptism is good - hopefully its in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins - Acts 2:38.

Hopefully, they will get born of the Spirit soon afterwards.

We had 21 get the Holy Ghost in one Sunday morning several weeks ago. Not sure how many were rank sinners, but most were probably from some other denominational background.
