There is no reason to think it strange that you are at peace Ferd. You have God and He has a peace that passes all understanding. He gives us of that peace too.
We are keeping your family in prayer.

We had a follow up appointment for Jack with the Cardiologist yesterday. In addition to everything else there seems to be some kind of membrane growing in the left atrium of his heart.
Right now it isn't causing any issues, but if it continues to grow it could block the flow of blood thru his heart and out to his body. That would require open heart surgery to correct.
His heart is fine right now but there are several things all happening that really are serious.
The Tachycardia is the main thing but it is under control with the meds he is on. However this week he got a bad cold and has been doing some wheezing. That requires breathing treatments and the breathing treatment medicine counteracts the heart meds.
Plus one of the heart meds, can cause this wheezing and if that happens then he has to go on a different med that is much more dangerous.
Now on top of that he has an extra vein that enters the right atrium of his heart. This is an anomaly but while rare isn't something to worry about by itself. People live long healthy lives with this Left Superior Vena Cava with no issues at all. But for Jack the complication is that the LSVC enters the heart very close to where the eclectic node that causes the heart to beat is located, and additionally this is also often the same place where the bad eclectic node is. If Jack doesn't outgrow the Tachycardia, they have to kill the bad eclectic node. Generally that isn't a big deal but in this case, its potential proximity to the good electric node leaves room for the procedure to harm the good one. which would require a pacemaker for the rest of his life.
On top of that we now have the left Atrium membrane issue which is completely separate but and while not something that needs attention now, may cause its own life threatening issues at some time in the future.
In the end everything may be just perfectly fine and nothing to worry about, but any or all of this could lead to serious open heart surgery to fix.
The good news is that nothing that has been identified will cause Jack life long problems and once we are clear of these issues (by healing, out growing, or surgery) he will be 100% ok. EVERYTHING is fixable. The hard part is, we have 4 years before we get thru this thicket. And now there are 2 seperate issues that could threaten his life in the short term.
Please keep us in your prayers.
Ferd, We have had to give breathing treatments to some of our babies. I cannot imagine what you are going through with all the other issues added.
Bless baby Jack. I shall not neglect to mention him and you in prayer.
