Ha! Right!

That is the logic of some anyway!
Everyday I'm surprised by various apostolic friends forum's posters.

TJJJ,

What if the bible reads they carried a sword and not a Glock? What does that prove? A sword was their only weapon of choice in that era. I'm sure the magistrate and Apostle Peter would utilize Glocks if they were in existence during their lifetime!

The fact is the magistrate utilized swords in that era:

Romans 13:4 (NIV)
For they are God's servants working for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for it is not without reason that they bear the sword. Indeed, they are God's servants to administer punishment to anyone who does wrong.

If Jesus didn't mind Peter and the magistrate bearing swords (weapon of their time), Jesus wouldn't mind us utilizing pistols (weapon of our generation)!

FYI: I own a 40 Glock, Model 27!

Really, folks! What business does a peace loving Christian have owning a high capacity ASSAULT rifle!!! Who you gonna kill if I might ask? Your neighbor when he comes after your 7 year supply?

I just don't get how someone can feel comfortable owning one of those!

This great nation we have inheirited from our forefathers would not exist if they had this same out look, "What business does a peace loving Christian have owning a high capacity ASSAULT rifle!!!"
The minute men had the exact same bullet capacity in the rifles that gave us this nation as the rifles that attempted to prevent it's founding.

There have been accusations today that people don't think any more than they have to.

This post, my friends, is good thinking.

They had the best they could get and if they could have had better, they would have. What business does a peace loving Christian have owning a high capacity assault rifle? That's simple........to be on equal footing when the criminals who have them from the black market come after them!!! LOL

No, no! I must have came across wrong! I was laughingly using the approach that some use towards holiness in a rather feeble attempt to make a point.

Some say that because God does not specify things like cigs and pot and other sins that, obviously, because it was not there then it must be okay! I was trying to use the same logic but the other way thus the laughing face at the bottom! I am not against glocks.

Sorry for my comment being misunderstood!

I humbly apologize to all glock owners!!!! (Next time buy a Beretta)

If I was in Law Enforcement, I would have a Glock as my service weapon. I have fired them and they easy to use and quite accurate.

For my concealed carry I use a Keltec 9mm. It is a single stack mag and is the smallest 9mm made. Not as accurate as a Glock or even a Beretta, but it will get the job done within legal parameters!

(KE Gun: A gun utilizing ultra-capacitors to power elector magnets used to accelerate a metal projectile to very high speed -usually in the several-miles-per-second range.)

IF drinking and driving was not illegal there would be more folks doing it I am sure

Why put gas in your car? I think that underscores a lack of faith and spiritual immaturity.
