I can't say the absolute worst... but yes, it strikes a rotten self rightous cord right out the box. it is one of the few songs that makes me want to be something other than Pentecostal.

I am uncomfortable with some of the "Romantic" Worship songs like:
"I want to sit at your feet, drink from the cup in your hand. Lay back against you and breathe and feel your heartbeat. This love is so deep - it's more than I can stand"

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

Just a little too intense for me.
What do you think the bride relationship to Christ is?
I have no issue with the way the song is worded. This is why a lot of people are confused and wrongly label pentecostals/apostolics as "Jesus Only." It's because a lot of us get antsy and uncomfortable when talking about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It's in the Bible folks ... King James Version, too.
You know things have been taken way too far when you start censuring the bible itself in order to further your own doctrine.

Like the one...
Into thy presence, sweet holy Spirit,
Speak to me softly as I close the door,
Heavenly lover let thy spirit hover,
Shekinah unending is all I long for!

I remember that one from growing up! Too much!
Rush has a saying that goes "Women should not be allowed on juries when the defendant is a stud." In a similar vein, songs like the above make me think that women should not be allowed to write hymns!
