He didn't just volunteer to be the Emergent Buster and posture his words at several conferences in last few months because he wasn't interested. Oh, he was very interested. You don't get that many votes because you weren't interested. People knew.

Re: 10.01.09 - The End of Haneywood?

Maybe PM intended to be a candidate, but withdrew for different reasons? Maybe he had a good reason?

No one should be mad at a nominee for withdrawing his name. That's unfair and juvenile.

LOL I realize there were strong rumors everywhere, but what I'm saying is that the members of Mooney's congregation had absolutely no confirmation whatsoever from him.

I had no idea that is was a write in ballot, I have never voted! Lol! I am just surprised with the UPC as big as it is that with an election as important as this something like this could have been avoid.

Mooney would have know ahead of time, and would have been able to withdraw before the day of the election.

But they are the ones that have to work with their own guidelines.

Someone who has silently campaigned for the position only to withdraw at the last second is a bit suspect.

The write in ballot is a cumbersome method but the other option would be to be told who your candidates are.

At least they are getting to choose who they want to see as their candidates.

He should have withdrawn BEFORE the vote - not after.
