Re: 10.01.09-The End of Haneywood - D. Bernard New

Is Mooney considered an ultra-con? I thought I remembered reading that he preached a hard hitting message this summer on the Detroit get together. He didn't want any part of that if I remember correctly.

Would Mooney's support on the nominating ballot equal a return to a more Con UPC?

They don't have people "running" for GS. The ministers make nominations, and then those nominees are voted on.
So there's no way Bro. Mooney could have withheld his name before the nomination vote?

No, because even though he probably had a clue he would be nominated, he wasn't nominated yet.

It depends on what you consider conservative. I've heard many people comment about how specific preachers are conservative that I myself consider moderate.

The Lord probably wanted Bro. Haney to take a break for his health sake. He is a good man. IMO

Having come from a ultra conservative independent apostolic church, in my opinion I'd consider Mooney a conservative but not an ultra conservative. I think Bernard is more of a moderate.
