BUT....it identifies her as a nurse. That's the one reasoning for the branding.

And I agree! There are too many that their standards is no standards,
whatever feels good do it. Jesus gave his life for us, they don't want to give up anything. If someone can't stand the heat they need to get out of the kitchen.

I understand that.

I once was aiding someone having a seizure. I was dressed in a tshirt and jeans. Someone stated 'she must be a nurse'. I wonder how they knew that, since I wasn't in uniform.

To the world, wearing what is stated to be an Apostolic uniform doesn't identify me as one. Where I live (before IL went to non-smoking in public places), myself and other Apostolic women I was with were STILL asking 'smoking or non' when going to a restaurant.

Strangely enough, when I start my new job Wednesday, not only do I have to wear a uniform, but they also want me to have a badge to further identify me as a nurse.

In addition, they want a statement from my physician that shows I'm able to work without restrication and am in good health. Perhaps the UPC and other such orgs want to go a little farther than just clothing?
