Some are very classy, but I have seen outlandish before too.
One night this week someone singing on the platform had a silk flower on their shoulder the size of a dinner plate. Might have been a bit overstated, but to each their own. I just have never understood how that's okay, but a necklace (much smaller in size) is not.

If I did not understand our ways it would look showy.
I perfer modest moderate dressing.

It would have been hilarious if you walked by a group who looked like this -and proceeded to put a handful of candy in each of their pockets while saying "Ooohhhhh! Your scarrrryyyy!".

Well, see, the difference is that that dinner plate on someone's shoulder would never draw attention down to their chest. While a simple necklace - that's another story. Remember how my pastor told me that the problem with necklaces was that it drew a man's eyes away from a woman's face straight down to her chest?
Yep, a dinner plate on her shoulder would never do that.

What was his reasoning for not wearing earrings?

Then you did notice my Texas size belt buckle. I was afraid no one would notice. I did notice one guy with a beard, now that's pushing it.

Re: Alternate Apostolic Distinctions!
Some went to GC to be blessed, some were there out of curiosity while others to criticize and find something to complain about. for you who were there in which category were you? I was there for the first two. I was both blessed and had my curiosity satisfied. This was my second GC. The other one was a long time ago.
