LOL - - that's terrible - I can't believe I did that!!!
LOL! But it's so easy to do!!
I READ and HEAR mistakes, but my southern slang grammar is pretty bad. One of the things I find myself saying often when I'm on the phone is, "Where ya at?" I HATE IT!!! But it comes out of my mouth before I can stop and then I'm sitting there cringing.
A grammar mistake that I pick up instantly when people are talking is the use of I instead of me.

Has this been mentioned...people that use "like" for like everything?
I was like driving down the road and this cop like pulled me over and he was like do you know why I pulled you over and I was like no why and he was like you were doing 50 in a 25 and I was like no way. (That "sentence" deserves no punctuation.)

I do that, too. I know what is correct (usually), but I can speak very lazily sometimes. It's a bad habit.

I catch myself saying things like didja instead of did you. As you said, I usually know what is correct, but it's like my brain is programmed to speak this goofy southern slang.
