Re: How's Your Weather Today?
About 1/2" of ice or a little less, topped off with about 5" of snow so far. Still snowing, but I think it's supposed to stop in a little while.

Stay away from that pond, Timmy. It get's real annoying having that dog of yours come around here barking all the time.
Lassie: Bark! Bark!
Me: What is it girl? Did Timmy fall in the well? Is Timmy lost in the woods? What is it?
Lassie: Bark! Bark!
Me: (*sigh!)
Timmy: Little help?

We are supposed to get 6 inches to a foot tonight... I hope the power don't go off for 8 days this time.

Doesn't your kind just sort of burrow into the mud and hibernate when that happens?

Cloudy, rainy, and a little cold. But I am inside where it's warm.

Re: How's Your Weather Today?
MissBratt, that looks like an OHIO storm!
It's bitter cold here today. 11 degrees right now. This morning it was 2 degrees when the kids had to walk to school. But no snow coming down (it's too cold for that!). We've only got a small amount on the ground from before. (maybe an inch)

42 right now, rain. Going to 31 tonight with a high tomorrow of 32, and low tomorrow night of 22. Rain, freezing rain, and sleet tomorrow.

I'd rather wade through waist deep snows than have to contend with those Southern and Midwest ice storms. That's not even habitable as far as I'm concerned.
In fact, I love to wade through waist deep snow. But those ice storms... ugh! You folks have far more mettle than I.

Re: How's Your Weather Today?
Cold, sunny and dry---------for today anyway.
We've had one of the worst winters I've ever seen. And I've usually lived in areas with snow and cold so that's saying something!
There are residential streets that are just now more than one lane. The main streets were plowed but are now covered in pot holes and try as I might you just can't avoid all of them.
Yesterday I discovered front driver side tire had a small tumor, (properly called a bulge in the sidewall) . In the daylight today I assessed the damage and it needs to be replaced. There's a small tear also. I credit this with going through an unexpected pot hole too fast
And the car has huge tires.....21560R17 But it's only money....
