Re: Facebook virus

If you DO get a Facebook virus (or Viri) make sure you go to your applications and remove it.

Re: Facebook virus

Happened to me two weeks ago or so. Infested my pc. McAffee did NOT catch it until it was too late. (inserts promo for AVG free and Threat Fire)
Anyway. A pop-up appeared that looked like XP's security area that show's your firewall. Silly me. I'm on Windows 7. Didn't notice until I took a closer look and there was an Http at the top bar. Took several hours to clear up the mess.

have fun.

So did you realize it was an XP screen and see the http only after entering your credit card info to purchase the software needed to remove the nefarious infection?

After it asked if I wanted it to remove the virus. Allowing it to remove only unleashed more devils... Legion... Legion.. Whew.. that was an exhausting evening.
