Re: Earth Hour Nonsense

Christians should lead the charge regarding stewardship of God's creation. Creation care was one of Adam's primary duties.

Also, I think we have truly complicated our lives with many things. To live simply (learning from the Amish) as one poster implied, wouldn't be all that bad. In fact, it could spiritually empower us.

Amen as long as it stays just stewardship and does not put us in chains. I agree with the Amish way of life in a lot of things.

The folks pushing this stuff put out such huge thermal footprints that you can see where they've been from space. How's that "helping" things out?

The simple fact of the matter is this: Yes, climate change is real. It has always been real. The only thing that doesn't change about this planet is the fact that it's constantly changing.

The fact that there are so many sink holes in Florida testifies to the fact that ocean levels were once much higher than they are now. In order for the sea levels to be that high there would have had to have been little or no polar ice at all.

We're human beings responsible for that "global warming?" Could human being have prevented it?

It's all a scam.
