My son kinda got me this morning, but I caught on pretty quick. Frantically called me downstairs. Said the dog "got" the cat. She likes to chase him around, anyway, so there's some credibility to the story. He tried to have a shocked look on his face, but it turned out like more of a smirk, so I just said April Fool! Had me for a few seconds, though!
