I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
He is right; we should not be bitter or even very surprised if we are hurt by someone in a church. The church is a group made up of fallible humans, after all.
There is a big difference between being hurt in a church and being abused by a church. A person shouldn't allow either to make them bitter, because in being bitter they are hurting themselves. However, this man is speaking from an ecumenical view of total acceptability of changing churches or just moving on to a different church, or even denomination-and in some cases, this is the only acceptable answer to a situation-just moving on. There are many OP churches where a person is not allowed to transfer... and if they do, harmful rumors and stigmae follow them to the new church. In those cases, there is hurt on hurt, when a person needs healing.

What we need to remember that every church will be perfect, until we get there.... We bring our own hurts, our own dysfunctions to the fellowship. A church is a hospital for the hurting. Hurting people often hurt people to protect themselves. I once heard it said, "He who has offended you, has already offended God greater."

I AM concerned about your honesty, your integrity,
What is the main purpose of the church? What does God think its purpose is? How well is it serving that purpose?
The main purpose of the church would be to worship God and for the saints to manifest Jesus through their lives to the world.
God's purpose for the church in this age is for the gospel to be sent to every creature and every nation.
A church cannot fulfill that purpose without evangelism. Some churches do very well with evangelism while others fail that purpose by concentrating inwardly trying to control the flock instead of adding to the flock.
When that happens, carnality replaces the Spirit and the chances of hurt and abuse become much greater.
