Re: JCM Reunion / AMC Conference Check In Thread
Randy/Ron - I don't think anyone on here would condone a sinful lifestyle, and I personally don't think any sexual orientation is just fine. Where in the world did you get ideas like that? Just because we think someone is in sin doesn't mean that we don't love them anymore.
And as far as I know, there wasn't anyone on the platform who is living in a sinful lifestyle. There are some who have definitely struggled in the past, but hopefully they aren't now. If they were in known sin, I don't think they would have been used to minister.

There is no way of knowing what is in a person's heart or life that's between them and God... but a person living in open sinful lifestyle that knows how to live right before God... does that make it acceptable to you to be able to fellowship with them or listen to them sing about the Glory of God??

Randy, who says anyone is accepting it. Just because I speak to someone doesn't mean I accept it.
I love the sinner - not the sin.
I've always wondered if someone is so offensive to God why doesn't he just strike them down. Maybe God has a plan that you and I don't understand.

Re: JCM Reunion / AMC Conference Check In Thread
I still love to hear Ray Bolz but I do not agree with his lifestyle...In my book there is no more a touching song than I pledge the Allegiance ... I still cry when I hear someone sing that song.
It is a biblical fact that God hates sin, we all know that however He loves the sinner. If a person has chosen a certain lifestyle we can still pray for them and hope that things change. It has happened and can happen. Sometimes the lust of the flesh take people far from the real calvary and we do not have to be buddy buddy with them but we do not have to mistreat anyone.
Well, at least that is my simple opinion...
I would not want to run around and be best friends with a lesbian however if I knew one I would be kind to her. Maybe somewhere down the road she would remember my kindness and come back to the one whose burden is easy...
If we mistreat people even if they wanted to they will not come back...
Just walk away but don't close the door...YOU may need the person on down the road you close the door to.
I have waved and walked away from certain people in my life....

I don't think a sinful experience is God's plan for that person do you??
And again we aren't talking about Sinners who don't know God... we are talking about those who have known God and now are living a sinful lifestye..big difference....

Well,
You know what - - the reunion was AWESOME! I had a great time and I regret this thread has turned into what it has, but for the record, the thread has been allowed to continue.
It just shows that we all have a long way to go to be like Him.

The Sinner did not know Christ before then... he met him on the cross recognized his own sin and Christ forgave him...

Randy,
Do me a favor - start another thread to discuss this if you wish, but let this thread be the check-in thread.
