Gen 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings.

I wasn't "avoiding," I was jumping ahead in the dialog. Yes, they could be "saved" - and really saved at that. And they could possess this salvation without a single inclination toward our "Apostolic Distinctives."
Thanks. Of course you would claim their salvation would arrive at the conclusion that Acts 2:38 is not the way. I just wondered how you would see this question in light of your insistence on history to learn reality of historical theology of salvation.

Have you ever noticed that because of the serpant they were made aware of not being clothed properly??! And now the ultra-cons have taken on the role of the serpant!

And none of these scriptures give any detail about anything you ultra-cons harp on! No length no style no color! So how do you come up with the skirts that drag your tracks out long sleeves etc etc.....?

"Acts 2:38 is not the way..." ??? How do you reach that conclusion from what I've said, if I've even understood you here.
Jesus is "the way." That message is encapsulated in part within Acts 2:38, and many other passages as well. The whole book contains the message, for that matter.

You are preaching to the choir. You know what I meant.
