I definitely agree.

And to say the diagnosis is homogenous is mistaken.

I think it's really hard to know what he meant by that statement without hearing it in context.

To me, this scripture says: If you are following the traditions of men, formed after worldly principles, that would constitute "not" following Christ. "Traditions of men" in that verse refers specifically to Jewish law, which tells me that even something "religious" can be ultimately worldly, and have nothing to do with following Christ.

My version:

Be cautious, lest any man lead you away with philosophies and empty delusions that were reached by following after man's traditions and worldly principles, instead of following Christ.

Following God = Godliness
Following anything else = Worldliness
So, you place your understanding, your "reason" on the same level as the Word of God?

There's a lot of conservative thought that makes a LOT of sense. And most liberal hogwash makes zero sense.
I know enough about your standing and style on this forum to not interpret it this way, but a visitor or unknown viewer might say there would seem to be a bias in such a statement, right? To classify the conservative viewpoint as "thought," but the liberal view as "hogwash" is a pretty biased statement. The extremes of either side are the real problem, though, I think we would agree. I generally find that "hogwash" of any kind doesn't make sense. Much of the so-called "liberal thought" DOES make sense, though.

Yes. In fact, I gave my life to Jesus today. I keep taking it back.

You've hinted in a pejorative way now multiple times at people being homosexuals on here. What's your beef?

Do you love sinners? Would you have a homosexual over for dinner in your house? Do you know any personally?
