You've got to wonder about some of the things preachers say. We had a pastor who said that he couldn't lie. First of all, what an odd thing to say! It's like, what, you've tried to lie but couldn't? Anyway, you guessed it. Turns out he pretty much couldn't not lie! Amazing.

Ah, yes, that would be an Emmaism, if you don't mind my saying so. Emma always takes the illogical extreme and applies it. So, yes, it wasn't because he was looking, it was because he wasn't spiritual enough! He needed to talk in tongues WHILE he looked. That probably would have done it!
