When you say we are shaped by books, movies, school, experience, life, etc... these are cultural shapers that affect our personality, value system, etc... What I'm referring to is physiological.

My question was: Do you think men and women are processing things the same way? I used the example "the look." I'm trying to learn something about those who have interacted so far, and the perspectives that inform their conclusions.

The emotion control center of the brain, the amygdala, shows significantly higher levels of activation in males viewing sexual visual stimuli than females viewing the same images, according to a Center for Behavioral Neuroscience study led by Emory University psychologists Stephan Hamann and Kim Wallen. The finding, which appears in the April edition of "Nature Neuroscience," demonstrates how men and women process visual sexual stimuli differently, and it may explain gender variations in reproductive behavior.

Again, one of thousands of studies on this.

Okay then, I believe that men do have a pause button where they are presented with options. I say that because scripture wouldn't make it clear that if a man lust in his heart, he has committed adultery. I don't believe that scripture would be in the bible if men did not have an option.
