Maybe it wasn't his skin color but just the way he was dressed and the way he talked. That's not racism but prejudiced. Isn't a prejudice a predisposition to view certain aspects of a person in a certain way?

I would only consider it prejudice if he viewed him that way before he made the remark about money. After the remark about money, I'd just consider it fear.

A deadbolt on your bedroom door is a bit extreme not matter who or what was said.

Unless it's a boarding house or something similar. If the rest of the house is a bit open to the public, then a lock on the bedroom door would be reasonable.

God gave us the ability to be prejudiced and it is, in part, how humans rationalize life and experiences.


I am prejudiced against japanese women in that I don't usually find them attractive.

I am prejudiced against jw's and will usually not do much to help them-- nothng to harm them, mind you. Same with mormons.

In combat, I was prejudiced and will be again, when in that situation again.

Sometimes prejudice is necesary for survival.
Sometimes prejudice is just plain wise.

Sometimes prejudice is evil and is a reflection of hatred or, too often a skewed view of reality.

The way Prax presented his experience smacks of evil.

Some folks steal just to be stealing. My son has had money go missing from his bedroom from church friends. When it comes to money and things, some folks just can't be trusted. The comment would have made me nervous also. My mom just had $50 taken from her purse in her house with only family and friends coming in and out. They now lock their bedroom doors when there are a lot of people over.
