For a quote on this I believe there is a quote in A.D. Urshan's book about dancing being evil, I don't remember the exact quotation but that was the tone of it.

Who says? Where do you get such ideas from?

And did you know MANY of the dances Jews performed (including, most believe, David's infamous garment-casting dance, was a rehearsed, familiar dance to all)?
