Just like not all people who use drugs are drug addicts. The psychological aspect of a person does play a huge part in determining if someone may become an addict.
100 people may see porn and not feel it's a big deal. They can move on in life and never find themselves tempted to return.
I had a discussion this morning with my daughter about this subject. She is a lot like me, so we understand each other quite well. The same things tend to depress or excite us. We have to be careful not to profile people after us, just like others need to be careful not to profile me and my daughter.
We sat under a pastor years ago who didn't suffer from depression or anxiety. He would basically tell people to "Get over it". Well, for some it's not that easy. People are truly different and we must realize everyone is unique.
Porn is just the gateway for some like Mr. Bundy, taking them into realms of complete and total darkness. I think it's important for people to be honest with themselves, and others, about the weaknesses they have.
Just curious, did you watch the video? Ted gives an honest opinion about his experience in prison and how ALL the serial killers he knew were into pornography.
