Good grief. Thomas Fudge spent a lot of money and time interviewing many people that were at the merger. Its all documented. Its a scholarly piece. You all act like this is an episode of "Perry Mason" with all your legal mumbo-jumbo. Read the book "Christianity Without the Cross". The facts are well documented there. I believe most of the key players in the merger believed they were all brothers. The movement to muscle "salvation by grace through faith" types emerged some time later. I don't believe the merger began with a conspiracy. If I recall Fudge's book this is what was documented. The animous developed later.
