They are better than pretty good. The Clark boys are great. My kids were part of the taping of a Country Music special for teens back around 2000 at the Wildhorse in Nashville and that is where I first saw and heard them. Back then they were the "Clark Family Experience".

They had a very bad record deal with Curb records. Had great success as the opening act for major country artists but it took Curb two or three years to bring out their first CD and then it did not do well.

ABC actually looked at doing a tv series with them but didn't pick it up. They set a legal precedent by being the first musical artists to get out of a record deal by including it in their bankruptcy filing.

For a long time I thought maybe Carrie Underwood and one of the boys were romantically involved as you never saw her sing without him behind or beside her playing his "fiddle" (Tennessee talk).

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
