Anyhow, we are in this world but not of this world.
If I change my use of the words Monday and Tuesday, etc. Will you then say that I am consistent and that a wedding ring is a sin, or did you just use that as a decoy because you are stumped and don't know how to combat the issue?

Yes, I was saying you would be consistent. But you showed how silly it is to refuse a ring due to pagan origins when you stated there is nothing wrong with naming the names of months and days.
Such consistency would still be stupid, though, because it's demanding the accusation of idolatry upon someone when that person had no intent of honouring any false god whatsoever. It's like the ridiculous claim that a person is worshiping a christmas tree since they are merely bending over in front of it to pick a gift up from underneath it. It;s not worship, -- it's bending over to pick something up.
Extreme legalism is when someone is accused of worshiping a false god when no such intention is in their hearts whatsoever. That is the implication given about rings. It's nuts.
Just by the fact you blew off the month and day thing tells me you KNOW pagan associations with certain things is really insignificant unless one consciously worships the false gods.
