He said firmly that he would not be part of a group with that type of an attitude.

Even though he did say that, he also said that there were many good men in the AMF, and that many of the founders of it were great men of God. I have heard some preachers who are affiliated with the AMF preach, and wish that I could hear their messages again.
My Brother, that is for sure. There are good men in every movement. I grew up on great preaching and love to hear a preacher that can preach the Word with Passion and Power. My pastor the late Bishop G E Patterson was in my opinion the greatest preacher on earth and he was a kind and compassionate man. I have heard him rebuke other Bishops and lay the law down and I wept like a baby as it felt like judgment was coming on everybody. God have mercy - He could make you feel the flames of hell reaching up to engulf you at any second. Yet - he preached with a love for people and to save them from hell. He would preach in 15 minutes and wreck the house with the Power of God.

There are mean people in every movement. I have had to repent to many a person and tell folks to stop listening to my old tapes from 20 years ago as they do not convey my heart. People say I am much more compassionate and sensitive in the pulpit now but I have gone through hell on earth and mighty battles to bring me to a place of compassion. I still believe in Holiness - just not the same brand as others!
