This one gets me too. In all, yes I said all, homosexual couples I have been around, there has always been an obvious "male" dominant role in one of them and female in the other.
To answer the original thread question. Because only another woman can know what a woman is thinking. Which is what we men get told we should know in the first place. Hence the common comeback; "If you were a woman you would understand".
