We don't know anything about these people JD! Democrats categorize everyone by race, gender, sexual orientation, socio economic status. They are the ones that keep people labeled with all of their sub group categories.

Condi Rice said it last night, "You see, the essence of America, what really unites us, is not nationality or ethnicity or religion. It is an idea. And what an idea it is. That you can come from humble circumstances and you can do great things, that it does not matter where you came from, it matters where you are going. My fellow Americans, ours has never been a narrative of grievance and entitlement. We have never believed that I am doing poorly because you are doing well. We have never been jealous of one another and never envious of each others' successes."

Now Condi is one of the most intelligent, successful black women in history. Why does she choose to identify with the GOP? If it is such a magnet for racism and racists, why does she choose to identify with Republicans? She experienced the worst of racism in modern American history---and yet it seems she doesn't feel entitled to feel offended about isolated cases of racism here and there. She isn't reluctant to get up and say, "this is my party, I'm proud of it, I'm proud to endorse Romney, he will be much better than what we're getting!"

This racist narrative is a device to distract Americans from the truth: Obama is an incompetent president. He doesn't know how to create jobs or to restore confidence in American business or to encourage entrepreneurs to hire and risk more of their capital and expand and grow their companies. BO is likable, good natured, a good speaker, a good husband and father, and generally a nice fellow. He has simply failed in his efforts to right this ship and it has grown worse under his watch. He won't accept responsibility, and that further underscores that he is not the kind of leader that the presidency requires.

And as much as Chris Matthews and MSNBC and the Obama campaign try to make this a race-based election, most Americans know this has nothing to do with it. And Dr. Rice's speech and Artur Davis and the many African Americans who identify with Republican and conservative ideals are proof that there are plenty of blacks who know what this election is all about.

Racism exists and it exists in many places. Institutionally much has changed. But I would contend that there is more motivation to keep the racism fires alive in the Democratic Party than in the Republican Party. Because without the almost monolithic voting of the African Ameircan community Democrats can't win the White House. If you'd really examine the issue you would see that the racism exists among liberals and Democrats and it's a destructive form because it works to keep minority communities dependent, angry, and feeling entitled.
