BO has gone through this from day one.
GWB didn't enter into office going through this.
In fact, after 9/11, he was quite popular.
It wasn't until several years later (4 or 5 years later) that GWB started to become villified-- even then, it doesn't mean it was right. However, GWB EARNED his villification.
BO has been villified from the start.
