I don't really know. I was living in Houston at the time, so I wouldn't have known. In our family, we don't ask personal questions about anything. My mother mentioned about Father **** and my aunt, which surprised me! But that is all she said. You learn when the conversation is over.
I remember as a young girl watching him smoke a cigar after mass. I kept thinking it just didn't seem right, but then when he would drink with my father and uncles, I thought nothing of it. lol He was a very nice man. I always liked him.
