I didn't pay attention to who said that, but I do not believe it. I am suspicious of anybody that says they can speak in tongues any time they want to.
I have heard what I am sure is fake speaking in tongues (I know, some people think it's all fake) and that concerns me.
There have been times that I felt a very powerful presence. It was not worked up and I don't care who argues otherwise. Someone has told me that the brain creates the feeling we call the Holy Ghost; well why does the brain do that? Why would it come over me suddenly when I had not been trying to feel anything? I know what I have felt; nobody else knows like I know what I have felt, and it is very real. There have been a few times when it seemed that everyone but me was feeling something and I am not speculating about the reason for that, but I do know the Holy Ghost is real and that people do sometimes speak in languages they have not learned. If anyone puts on a show for someone studying speaking in tongues, well I think that probably would be fake and any conclusions made by the researchers about that would have nothing to do with the real Holy Ghost.
