We have to be grounded and rooted on the Bible, not on what a denomination teaches.
That is why we need to study the Bible and really understand what it really teaches.
Many years after I became a Christian I am still standing as one, even though in the Real world and the Virtual world (Forums, chat rooms, e-mail),
I have been attacked by Atheists, Agnostics, Morons, Jehovah's witless, 7th day adversaries and regular "Christians", Yet I have not fallen down.
I believe the
Acts 2:38 message even more than when I first begun this walk and that is because I studied every day the Bible, early on I even had marathon 12 hours straight Bible study. (8:00 am to 8:00 pm) nonstop.
The point is that our faith needs to be based on what the Bible really says, not on what someone teaches it says.
