Redeemed from the Law
We hear this a lot; and there also seems to be quite a bit of confusion about it. Am I supposed to follow the Law, or have I been redeemed from the curse of it? Both, as it turns out...
Believers in Biblical times understood that 'the Law' actually meant one of four sets of Laws--corresponding to Moses' repeated trips up Mt Sinai; and we have only been freed from one, that is, the Ceremonial Law. The other three, the Moral, Civil, and Health Laws, have never been repealed.
