The problem is I have never once heard anybody say we need to have a balanced view on prophecy. I think you are the first one.
To me it is like the Prosperity Gospel. Sure if these teachers would keep it balanced and reign it in with balance it would probably not be that bad. But extremes in any direction will cause disappointment and pain.
I very much believe Jesus will come back, but I will not let preconceived notions cloud my judgment of what God has called me to do. What if Jesus comes back but not like you think he will?
