Re: the Four Blood Moons
It's sad really, some things never change.
Matthew 16:2-3
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? I know y'all are watching Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, and tired re-runs of Two and a Half Men... let me put it in a manner that you might understand...
================================================== ========
Errrrnt - Errrrnt - Errrrnt: We interrupt this broadcast for a severe weather bulletin. The International Endtime Weather Service has issued a PAROUSIA WATCH for the entire global community. Over the past 100 years this storm has gained in strength with increased winds of deception. Flash flooding of war and violence may occur in low-laying nations. This may be followed by economic collapse, disease, and famine. A rotation of signs in the sun, moon, and stars have been spotted. Stay in church. Stay away from windows. Do not abandon your church network accept in the event of emergency. Touch not the unclean thing. Have set times of extra prayer and fasting on hand. Conditions are favorable for Parousia. Be ready to take shelter in Christ, making your calling and election sure, in preparation for possible Parousia. This is a dangerous storm. This has been the International Endtime Weather Service. A PAROUSIA WATCH has been issued for the entire global community. Stay tuned for regular updates on this storm. This is NOT a test. We now resume your regular broadcasting. Errrrnt - Errrrnt - Errrrnt
================================================== ========
Conditions for Parousia:
-Israel reborn (Arab/Israeli conflict)
-astrological portents and omens
-international problems of perplexity (food shortages, famine, disease, overpopulation, inflation, poverty, and war)
-the entire balance of nature seeming to be off If I worked for the National Weather Service, and the conditions were favorable for a tornado, I'd have to place the entire county under a, "Tornado Watch". I'd not rush to a "Tornado Warning" yet because a tornado hasn't been spotted in the sky. However, I'd be negligent in my duties to not issue a "Tornado Watch" with conditions favorable for a tornado.
Now, most of us don't get upset if the National Weather Service issues a tornado watch and a tornado doesn't manifest. Yet y'all howl and criticize a man who issues a "Jesus Watch" when conditions are favorable for Christ's return. It just doesn't make sense that people who call themselves "Christians" are being like this. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'd rather know that the conditions are favorable for Christ's return than find out that ministers sat on their hinder parts refusing to issue a watch out of fear of criticism. I want to be updated on this storm at any point a possible sign or indication of Christ's possible return is spotted.
I appreciate these men of God who stick their neck out for criticism. I look at them like eschatological weathermen. Let me know when conditions worsen or are favorable for prophetic fulfillment.

Last week when I went to the doctor, our doctor asked me if I had read a book called "The Four Blood Moons". He highly recommended it. Today I am seeing things about it on Facebook. In fact, I was led to this article about John Hagee who it sounds like started this whole thing....
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.1754601
So, my question is: have you read it? What's your opinion?

Technically not Hagee or any person has "started" this. It's not "man-made" the tetrads have in fact lined up exactly with major world events in history. I've researched it and here are some FACTS:
There have only been 8 tetrads in world history with all 4 blood red moons falling on Jewish feast days and all have hit when there has been an major event:
1492: Jews leave Spain after Spanish Inquisition/Columbus discovers North America
1600-1900 NO TETRADS
1949 Nation of Israel recognized
1967 6 Day War - Israel takes possession of Jerusalem

I could be hit by a bus and be in the Lord's presence today. This is more likely to happen than this. My day of the Lord could come ate ANY time!

Re: the Four Blood Moons
Many people that are all hoped up on prophecy have preconceived notions about the future. They are just certain prophecy is going to happen like they think it will.
Well the people of Jesus day had preconceived ideas about the coming messiah. Many people thought he would have a military takeover of Israel and rule as king on the throne. When Jesus showed up and he didn't come with an army they decided by their preconceived idea that this can not be the messiah. So they killed him.
God doesn't always do thing the way we think he will. God doesn't fit in a box.

BUT it is hard to take something serious when you have to pay $15 for a book.
If John Hagee really believe this he would spend his own money to buy commercial time on major networks telling people to get ready and get right with the Lord.
My humble opinion.

$15 for a book is cheap, how many pages?

Re: the Four Blood Moons
Act 2:19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
Act 2:20 the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.

I don't know? Actually someone gave it to me. I was just trying to make the point that there is money to be made off of these end time stories.

Re: the Four Blood Moons
My daughter stayed up last night, and took some great pictures of the moon. We watched it for a while, and it was pretty incredible to watch the dark shadow creep across the face of the bright full moon. I've attached a couple of her pictures that she took.
I don't know about all the talk about these blood moons... my faith is in Jesus, and Him alone. Regardless of man's predictions, and possible prophecies, the fact remains that we must not take our eyes off Him, and be swayed or brought into fear by doom and gloom prophecies. If it is indeed the end times, than even so come quickly Lord Jesus, and if not, I'll just continue walking with Him day by day.
