That is why I am a pagan. Well, beyond the fact the whole, earth, nature worship is fun and fulfilling.
BT, the Bible is a great literary work. It is full of allegory, but sorry, we evolved from other hominid species and the never was a global flood. so, throw as many "scriptures" as you want. They are what we used to call in my submariner days "waterslugs".
